About Us
Throughout history, humans have both been affected and been affected by the natural world. While a good deal has been lost due to human actions, much of what is valued about the environment has been preserved and protected through human action. Interactions between human society and the environment are constantly changing. The environment, while highly valued by most, is used and altered by a wide variety of people with many different interests and values. Difficulties remain on how best to ensure the protection of our environment and natural resources.
Parayavaran Mitra Yuva Samiti (PMYS NGO) was founded in 2015 to promote mass awareness on the fast deteriorating environment and the need for protection and conservation of the environment and natural resources. The Society came into existence on the 22nd August 2015 in Bilaspur,
Chattisgarh through the hand of Mr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta. The Society had its permanent address at Chattisgarh and started a humble beginning of its activities from there. This organization is a non-profit, State level voluntary organization contributing significantly to eco-development, habitat promotion and environmental management in the State of Chattisgarh. It has been carrying sustainable activities through the years since 2015 towards achieving its objectives and established itself as a reputed state level apex organization in matters regarding natural habitat, wildlife, and environment.
We are registered with the Registrar of Societies and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) bearing the CG Societies Registration Act 1973 bearing the Registration No. — C.G. State – 5487. The city and state of registration are Bilaspur and Chattisgarh. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is CG/2019/0225821. The date of registration is 22/08/2015.
Our Mission
It is our mission to create opportunities for school dropouts and poor youth to help in leading productive and socially useful lives in Chattisgarh area.
Vision
We aim to provide education to the less educated and deprived youth through self-employment by livelihood training provided in partnership with stakeholders.
Objective
To promote, organize, encourage the study and enhance knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of nature and natural resources among the common mass.
